Welcome to the Event Submission Guide for Montréal Climate Week! We’re excited to have you join us as an event organizer and contribute to Montréal’s vibrant and inspiring climate ecosystem.

This guide walks you through how to add your event to the centralized Montréal Climate Week calendar. To be included in the festival’s official programming, your proposed event must meet the criteria and follow the submission process outlined in this guide.

✅Criteria for submitting events

To be included in Montréal Climate Week, your event must meet the following criteria.

Timing and location

• Events must take place within the dates of September 8-13, 2026.
• Events must bring people together in the Greater Montréal area or online.

Community Policy

• Events must be aligned with Montréal Climate Week’s values and mission, and support genuine climate action. To learn more, please read our **Community Policy.**

• To make climate action and systemic transformation more accessible, we have broken down the festival’s themes into 6 pillars. Events must address at least one:
  • Arts & Culture
  • Food Systems
  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Urban Planning
  • Politics & Democracy
  • Science, Technology & Business

Event platform: Luma

To be included in the official Montréal Climate Week calendar, event registration must be created on the Luma platform. This helps us ensure better coordination and a seamless experience for participants. Please see the next section for step-by-step instructions.
